In 2014, we decided to embark on the next chapter of our lives and move to Gozo. Our passion for travel has taken us all around the world. When we travel, we always prefer to stay in smaller, independent Bed & Breakfasts instead of hotels. The personal commitment and dedication that owners put into hosting always made our stay more unique and memorable.
After 7 successful years of running our award-winning Bed and Breakfast in the village of Xagħra, we are excited to welcome you to our new home in Xewkija. This home is where the old meets new; old friends can come together whilst meeting new ones, where old traditions meet new culture, and where old Maltese architecture is complemented by new, modern comforts.
We hope that we can help you make happy memories and invite you to come and stay with us as soon as possible.
We are situated in Xewkija, the oldest village on Gozo, famous for the Rotunda Church, boasting the biggest dome in Europe. The village square is a 10 minute walk from the property, where you will find a number of bars, restaurants and cafes offering superb local and international cuisine. Conveniently located, we are just a 3 minute drive from Victoria, the capital of Gozo.
There is safe street parking available near the property, however, taxis, Bolt cars and eCabs are also available on the island. There is a bus stop a minute walk from the property, which services Mgarr Port and Victoria (bus route 323). There is also a bus service to Ramla Bay (bus route 302), the bus stop for this service is a 2 minute walk from the property.
You can also take the Gozo fast ferry from Valletta to Mgarr. The journey takes 45 minutes. The schedule can be found by clicking here Gozo fast Ferry.
The Adult Only Bed & Breakfast consists of 3 large, private bedrooms, all with en-suites. King Room with Balcony, King Room and Twin Room/King Room. To learn more about our rooms, view the B&B Gallery. All rooms come with air-conditioning/heating. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. A Mediterranean breakfast is provided daily, and it includes fresh fruits, yoghurt and cereals, with cold cuts, cheeses, a variety of bread and sweet treats, as well as typical local produce. In addition, a selection of teas and a freshly brewed pot of coffee are available, as well as fresh juices.
